Dreams Don’t Have Limits https://www.sevabharathi.org/saturday-spotlight/dreams-dont-have-limits/ I came across a story on LinkedIn that really moved me. Harshitha, from a small village called Pocharam, lost her father when she was just 13. Since then, her mother became both mom and dad to her and her younger sister. “My mom treats me like a son,” Harshitha says. “She’s my everything.” Life was hard. Her mother worked as a housekeeper, and Harshitha had to grow up quickly. But no matter how tough things got, she always believed: I will keep moving forward. In 2018, she joined Seva Bharathi’s Kishori Vikasa Kendram, where she found support, mentorship, and confidence. That changed everything. Today, Harshitha is in her second year of BBA at Andhra Mahila Sabha College. She recently won Best Kabaddi Player at an inter-college competition — a huge moment for her. And in 2023, she became a Nirvahika (coordinator) at the same Kendram, now helping other girls rise just like she did.
Durga’s Journey From Kishori Vikas to Corporate Leadership https://www.sevabharathi.org/empowerment/kishori-vikas-empowering-durga/ Durga is a young girl who always wanted to help others. While she was studying, she joined Kishori Vikas as a volunteer. This changed her life. She learned many new things and became more confident. Even though she was busy with her studies and helping others, she worked hard and passed her B.Sc. with 86%. At Kishori Vikas, she learned computer skills, how to talk to people, and how to work with a team. These skills helped her grow. Her biggest inspiration is her mother, who also works as a Kishori Coordinator. Her mother taught her how to help other girls and work with love and care. Durga even inspired her younger sister to do better in school. With Seva Bharathi’s support, Durga got a job as an HR Trainee at Shell Infotech.
Tax exemption through donation https://www.sevabharathi.org/blog/donation-tax-exemption/ Did you know that your donations can help you save on taxes? Yes, you heard that right! When you donate to a registered charitable organization like Seva Bharathi, you not only support a meaningful cause but also get the benefit of a donation tax exemption under Indian tax laws. It’s like giving with one hand and getting rewarded with the other; all while making a positive impact on society. How It Works: Donations to Seva Bharathi qualify for up to 50% deduction under Section 80G. To claim this deduction, you need to donate through valid payment methods — cheque, draft, or online transfer. Once your donation is successful, we will send you a receipt which can be used to claim your tax rebate.. Example: You donate ₹10,000 to Seva Bharathi. You can claim ₹5,000 (50% of ₹10,000) as a deduction under Section 80G. If your taxable income is ₹5,00,000, it reduces to ₹4,95,000 after the deduction; lowering your overall tax liability.

The Heartwarming Tale of Gangamma https://www.sevabharathi.org/life-stories/the-heartwarming-tale-of-gangamma/ In a world where kindness often seems overshadowed by life’s challenges, stories like Gangamma’s remind us that humanity thrives in the efforts of those willing to serve. On November 21st, our dedicated team in Nalgonda responded to an urgent call that underscores why we are regarded as the best NGO in Hyderabad. The Call for Help Gangamma, a frail and elderly woman, found herself in a dire situation. With no family or friends by her side, she needed immediate assistance to reach the hospital. For someone battling not just age but also loneliness, the road ahead seemed bleak. But as soon as our team received the call, we knew we had to act swiftly. Our volunteers, known for their dedication and compassion, quickly mobilized. Despite the challenges posed by time and logistics, the team ensured Gangamma was transported safely to the hospital. Upon reaching, our volunteers facilitated her admission and stayed by her side, ensuring she received the care and attention she deserved. What followed was a series of medical interventions that saved her life. It wasn’t just medical care she received; it was the warmth and reassurance of human connection that gave her hope.
